Atari Arcade.

Two brains are born when the page opens and learn to play while you watch.

Nothing to press. Each brain watches its teacher, takes the controls on its own and keeps learning from the reward of its own actions. Atlantis usually changes hands within a minute, Freeway within two. On phones the second game starts on request.

Inside the arcade

From watching
to playing.

Each brain is born when the page opens and learns while it plays. There is no training phase and no frozen copy: the brain you watch is the brain that learns.

The brain is modeled on an animal's: a retina, an association cortex with a working memory, a motor cortex with one neuron per action, and a critic whose surprise acts like dopamine. Each action comes from the whole brain settling on an answer, and its outcome is kept as changed connections.

In recorded runs both brains took the controls within two minutes of birth and played at their teacher's level.
